MassCUE’s Confidence to Create conference at Gillette Stadium |
Phew! It’s been a busy week. At least I know that the pedometer on my phone justifies my being so tired. The annual MassCUE fall conference has come to a close, and what a fantastic conference it was. Now that I’m on the board of directors for MassCUE, my experience was a little different than in previous years, but was still awesome!
This year’s theme was Confidence to Create. Presenters and vendors were encouraged to cultivate creativity and the power of students to be able to make something. We had 4 TED-ish speakers, a great student showcase, many vendors, inspiring presentations . . . and some great food!
I presented a session called “Entrepreneurship outside the box” to spread the word about my students running their own small businesses, and the incorporation of the MassCUE grant I won to add more technology to the project.
Thank you to everyone who had a part in planning this monstrous event! It’s quite the undertaking.
