My Entrepreneurship students use the profits from their businesses to make donations to local charities and provide microloans on Kiva.org to aspiring entrepreneurs in developing countries. To date, we have made loans to entrepreneurs in Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Philippines, Jordan, and Pakistan. I just received notification that some of our entrepreneurs have made repayments on our loans. It’s always a good day to know that these entrepreneurs are succeeding and are able to make their payments. We have a 0% delinquency rate right now!
