Fireball at the Waterfire Arts Center!

It’s not often that I post about something that isn’t education-related. Last night, I had the opportunity to attend the Fireball at the Waterfire Arts Center in Providence. My husband is an architect and has been renovating a large warehouse building formerly owned by US Rubber. It has been completely transformed into the new Waterfire Arts Center. Last night was project completion celebration! It was a night filled with live performances, great food, and the enjoyment of a beautiful building. I just love when something old becomes new again! I tried to capture as many photos as I could between snacking on spanakoptita bites and chatting with new friends. My photos just don’t do the building justice. It was amazing in the light as we walked in, and was transformed by the night as we walked out. I am really proud of the work that my husband has done. I think that all of his projects need to throw fancy parties like this when they are complete! Waterfire, you have set the bar high 🙂

I also have to add that the Waterfire Arts Center has been recognized with some great honors for the renovation of the US Rubber building!
