What can I say about this year’s MassCUE conference? After over a year of planning, it was nothing short of amazing. I am the treasurer of the board of directors of MassCUE and may be a little biased, but I do think it was a spectacular event! From the inspiring speakers to the variety of sessions offered to the vast exhibit hall . . . wow! We had some new additions this year as well. The live broadcast booth was a hit. We featured interviews of MassCUE members, award winners, and keynote speakers. Also making its debut was CUELand, an interactive area for presenters to really connect with attendees and spend time with them. I presented a session there on integrating STEAM/STEM into business education curriculum. I had a lot of traffic and really got to show off how my students participate in STEAM/STEM competitions each month and then relate them back to business topics like careers, marketing, and financial planning.
Due to the current state of my ankle and my very long recovery, I spent quite a bit of time at Cue Central answering questions and helping attendees. This also gave me ample opportunity to talk people into hopping into our photo booth for some silly fun!

As I reflect on the conference, I am so thankful for my awesome tribe. We may only get to see each other in person a few times a year, but it’s a blast when we do. I always tell everyone that the MassCUE conference is like a family reunion where I get to hang out with all of my cool cousins. I can’t wait for our next reunion!
