Ted Talk, DocHub, and Phishing . . . Oh my!

I introduced my students to Ted Talks today with “This is what happens when you reply to spam email” by James Veitch. It’s a great video under 10 minutes long, allows us to speak about phishing, and keeps the students entertained. It also gives me the opportunity to have my students practice using one of my favorite Google Chrome Extensions, DocHub.

I give students access to this PDF of the Ted Talk reflection chart in Google Classroom.

Students open the PDF with DocHub and are able to edit the document with their own responses. They download/export the PDF to their Google Drive and attach the new file to the Google Classroom assignment for credit and submit. Voilá!

For a quick little assignment, it covers quite a few skills!
